James J. Traitz.

James J. Traitz is a seasoned trial lawyer who has handled cases all throughout Florida.  He has represented individuals and family members who have been injured as a result of medical malpractice, hospital negligence, automobile, truck, boating and premise-liability accidents, security negligence, dental malpractice, as well other types of complex injury and wrongful death cases.

Mr. Traitz is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar. He has been a trial lawyer for more than forty years, having personally tried over 200 civil jury trials to verdict, including many results well in excess of a million dollars.  One such example is a single verdict of $17,800,000.00 in Miami, Florida.  He also prides himself on having obtained the first verdict in excess of a million dollars for an unemployed African American teenager in Florida.  Mr. Traitz has been peer reviewed by his fellow legal professionals and was bestowed the prestigious honor of an AV® Preeminent™ rating by Martindale-Hubbell. The AV® Preeminent™ rating signifies that he places in the highest category for legal ethics and legal abilities.

Mr. Traitz is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in all of the Florida Courts, the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the Florida Supreme Court, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
